Change your Lifestyle:
If you’re calling this a diet then you’re going to gain all the weight back within a few months of losing it. Diets do not work. Diets are temporary. When you change your dietary lifestyle, however, you’re changing your habits and you’re putting yourself on track for long term continued success and weight maintenance. Don’t ever tell anybody you’re on a diet ever. I’m speaking from experience, here a reformed low carber. Worked out well for a while, but ultimately failed because my entire lifestyle didn’t change (permanently).
Walk, Walk & Walk:
If you want to become fully fit and strong, then you should regularly perform 30 minutes brisk walk at early in the morning. It will not only make your physically strong but also make you mentally tough forever.
Flat Stomach Exercise:
When we think about losing belly fat and getting a flat stomach we imagine ourselves doing lots of crunches and other abdominal exercises. Well stomach exercises are good for toning your stomach muscles but stomach exercises alone are not enough.
To get a toned flat stomach you will need to lose the fat that is covering your stomach muscles, and the best way to lose belly fat is a combination of changing your eating habits, so your body stores less fat, and doing cardio exercises to burn your existing stomach fat.
Cycling/Cycle Machine, or Jogging:
Your aim is the same as for walking or swimming. Start with a short easy routine 10 to 15 minutes per day and gradually work up to about 30 minutes a day. Gradually increase your work rate, without ever straining yourself. If jogging, please invest in a good pair of running shoes that offer cushioned support.
Head and Neck Circles:
Stand up straight. Without moving your shoulders, slowly move your head and neck in a wide circle. Do this half a dozen times.
Aerobic Exercise:
should be done 4 to 5 times a week. Generally a minimum of 20 to 30 minutes per session. Once you have base training behind you, consider adding interval training (covered in another section) to make your aerobic exercise more effective.
Strength Training:
Strength training is important and should not be overlooked. Even if you are looking to lose weight, keep in mind that muscle burns fat. That means you do your strength training routine and continue to burn fat later in the evening. This is one of the keys to developing 6 pack abs.
Sleep it Off:
To be an efficient fat burning machine, your body requires at least eight hours of sleep a night. If you think that you’re doing yourself a favor by sleeping less, you’re mistaken. Give your body time to rest itself, both mentally and physically. Sleep is very, very important (if only for mental alertness for the following day). If you feel tired, that’s likely your body’s way of saying: Shut your eyes, stupid!
Advice:
- Never overdo exercise.
- The secret is: A little and often.
- Use your common sense and avoid trying to do too much, too soon.
- Exercise shouldn’t be a temporary fad. It should be something you do for life.
