Antioxidants Boost Sperm Quality in Male
Sperm Quality Helped By Antioxidants
The quality of sperm can be improved if a man’s diet consists of antioxidants like blueberries, broccoli and other fruits and vegetables.
Live Science reported on the study found in the Fertility and Sterility medical journal, which revealed that men who consumed more antioxidants had better sperm movement, better ejaculation volume and sperm concentration compared to men on diets that consisted of mainly meats and dairy.
The study, conducted in Spain, tested the sperm of 60 men who also kept track of their diets. The men with “normal” semen ate more fiber, antioxidants, foods containing vitamin C and carbohydrates.
