A Baby is an Angel: Beautiful Baby Poems
Baby shower poems are cute, meaningful and give the shower a sense of a personal touch. They can be used for several baby shower projects such as wording for invitations, verses on cakes, baby shower thank you cards, baby gifts, scrap booking, framed pictures and whatever else your imagine has in store for them.
The poems have been collected from different sources, and unfortunately I have not always been able to find the author. If you should know the name of any authors not credited, please let me know!
1. A Baby Changes Things
A baby changes things;
They’ll never be the same;
Your life is filled with wonder,
Since your little miracle came.
There’s lots of things to do now,
But with the new tasks you face,
Your family gains more love,
And bonds time will never erase.
Congratulations on your new addition!
2. Baby can I Kiss Ur Lips
Baby let me tell u how I feel
Baby let me love u till the end
Baby my heart is urs
Baby let me touch u all over
Baby can I kiss ur lips
Baby can I rub ur feet
Baby look me in my eyes and don’t blink
Baby when the sun goes down will u be around
Baby let’s walk the hall of love
Baby when I look at u I see another world in ur eyes
Baby I’m tha man that can take u where u need and want to go
Baby please let’s go and don’t say no
Baby this is my last cry
Baby make love to me till the end of time
Baby….
3. A Little Angel was Given
A little angel was given to us
her eyes so bright and smile so sweet,
you would almost think she had been here before.
I look at you my Tiffany Jane with a heart of love and joy.
You my little angel were like a gift from above,
a prayer answered, a plea heard.
You are your father’s pride and joy,
and your brother’s favorite toy.
You look at us with a certain knowing
and a laugh of glee that almost
says I to am glad to be with here with you.
The fulfillment you have
brought to this family runs so deep
it is like a never ending river of happiness.
As we watch you grow and change we are richer with
every smile and look of love on your tiny face.
You, my tiny teeny Tiffany, are so special in every way I will love you more every
precious day of my life.
With all my heart and love,
4. So Your Baby is Here
So your baby is here!
What joy and what pleasure!
Now your life is expanding,
To make room for this treasure.
A darling newcomer
To have and to hold–
Her (His) smiles are more precious
Than silver or gold.
She’ll (He’ll) demolish your schedule
Though she’s helpless and small;
She’ll make her needs known,
And she’ll rule over all.
See, a new parent’s work
Is just never quite done,
But you’ll never mind,
‘Cause it’s all so much fun.
When you hear her cute giggle
You’ll start “aahing” and “oohing,”
And she’ll soon reply back
By “ga ga” and “goo gooing.”
Those big innocent eyes
See a world strange and new;
To make sense of it all
She’ll look only to you.
So cherish this time
Of miraculous things–
The excitement and wonder
That a new baby brings.
5. Sometimes You Get Discouraged
Sometimes you get discouraged,
Because I am so small
And leave my little fingerprints
On furniture and walls.
But everyday I’m growing
And soon I’ll be tall
That all these little fingerprints
Will be difficult to recall.
So here’s a little handprint
That you can put away
So you will know how my fingers looked
On this special day.
